STEVE NOGGLE  Steve Nog­gle is a wood­turner from Burke County, NC and a mem­ber of the South­ern High­land Craft Guild. Work­ing with a vari­ety of woods, most of Steve’s forms are sim­ply cre­ated as artis­tic objects, while a few can be used as func­tional pieces.

MIKE MIKUTOWSKI

MIKE MIKUTOWSKI  Mike Miku­towski is the cre­ative force behind Miku­towski Wood­work­ing boxes located in the Upper Penin­sula of Michi­gan. Every­thing is made and assem­bled in the stu­dio from high qual­ity domes­tic and exotic hard­woods. His pas­sion is to cre­ate a design in which the nat­ural lus­ter and rich grain can be blended to form beau­ti­ful contrasts.

DESMOND SUAREZ

DESMOND SUAREZ  Desmond Suarez, crafter of fine hand­made wood clocks, cut­ting boards & serv­ing boards, cre­ates his orig­i­nal designs from Cer­ti­fied Sus­tain­able Appalachian cherry, hard maple and wal­nut. His stu­dio is located at the edge of the beau­ti­ful Great Smoky Moun­tains in North Carolina.

JOHN MURPHREE

JOHN MURPHREE  Col­orado artist John Mur­phree has been a designer crafts­man for over 40 years, explor­ing many medi­ums and finally end­ing with wood­work­ing. His ear­rings are made from envi­ron­men­tally sus­tain­able wood and fin­ished with ster­ling wires and glass beads. Designs are inspired by the organic shapes in nature, sacred geom­e­try, pop­u­lar icons and tra­di­tional design motifs such as Art Deco or Medieval. For every piece of jew­elry sold John will plant a tree in coop­er­a­tion with the Eden Project.
